The piece Já Dizia o Outro is a memorial to the artist’s father. It represents him in one of the most meaningful moments shared between father and daughter: the meal. These meals were accompanied by stories of youth, reflections on daily life, curiosities, and questions. Among all these exchanges, the phrase “as the other used to say” often echoed in their conversations.
To this day, the artist does not know who “the other” was, but she always believed that someone must have known — especially her and her father.
